Patients can choose to check in and join a virtual waiting room, this allows you to wait in the comfort of your own home while waiting to see a provider. When it is time head, to the clinic, you will receive a text message, so time in a waiting room is cut to a minimum. Should I Go to Urgent Care or the ER?
It is important to note that urgent care and emergency care are not the same. An Emergency Department handles life-threatening health conditions, while urgent care does not. However, urgent care is an affordable alternative to emergency care for injuries or ailments that are not life-threatening.
